Raising money for
Using the bike in the garage and doing my walking I am Completing 660 miles within 4 sets of 50 days. I have completed the distance between Bradford, to Newcastle, via Leeds, to Liverpool. Now we’re heading down to Bristol.
Post from 2/1/2021. Happy New Year all. I hope you are well. I thought I’d drop in and see how you are. I have been back on the bike in the garage over the past few days. I’m back to working from home so I’ll be doing more cycling as I wont’t be able to get the miles in as I normally would.
I would just like to say a massive thank you to everyone again for their support of my fundraising for the British Heart Foundation and the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund. It means a lot to me that you are able to help me raise this money. Your kindness and generosity is incredible. Especially at a time when people are finding it quite tough. You are all amazing. Thank you.
Post from August 21st – 2nd of September: 22.6 Miles cycled and walked. We’ve made a stop at Temple Newsham. This place is very special because when I had my surgery my Mum and Dad went and walked around the gardens here until they returned to the hospital. They did not know what was happening, they just had to wait and hope I was OK.
This image was taken by me at Temple Newsham a few summers ago. It is a lovely place to go for a wander round.

My brother has drawn me a map from when I was completing the distance between Bradford and Newcastle.
I’ll drop the links to my fundraising blog updates below so you can see what’s happening as I go along.
So here we are the 14th of December with less than 250 days to go to raise £3k. In total in since the 21st of August 2020 I have completed over 278 miles of the 660 miles I aim to complete in total.
My brother is doing me an updated map so I can show you where we are later on.
On Halloween I thought would be good to cycle in my Spider-Man onesie. I got very warm. So for your amusement and hopefully a donation…..
I’m currently sat on the couch and updating this blog. If you are interested in following me on a daily basis, please follow @PipsTurning30 on Twitter and @VisuallyImpairedPip on Instagram.
